A winter of experiences at Kerimaa
In winter, Kerimaa provides a splendid setting for all sorts of outdoor recreation as well as for fascinating events.

Cross-country skiing:
The machine-groomed cross-country ski trails of Kerimaa are connected to the trail network of the Kerimäki district, and will soon be linked up with the trails in the neighbouring Punkaharju district. You can rent cross-country skiing equipment from us.
Downhill skiing:
There are two downhill skiing centres in the vicinity. It takes only half-an-hour to drive to either Ruunarinteet or Lekotti ski centre.
Snowmobiling:
Kerimaa is the snowmobile centre of eastern Finland. You can reach the machine-groomed snowmobile trails directly from your cottage, and drive as far as Lapland, if you wish.
You can find Finnish-Championship-standard snow-cross and sprint/enduro courses in the region.
Kerimaa is truly a snowmobilers’ paradise!
Snowmobile safari:
A safari across the beautiful, varied terrain and frozen-over lakes of eastern Finland, suitable even for beginners.
Snowmobile adventure:
A snowmobile trip combined with performing various tasks at designated control points.
Quad bike trips:
Go on an exhilarating excursion or take part in a fun race on a quad bike.
Ice fishing:
The whopper fish of Lake Sylkynjärvi await all ice-fishing enthusiasts. You can hire fishing equipment from us and book an expert guide to ensure your catch.
Winter games at Kerimäki:
Duration 2-4 hours. Participants perform 5-8 tasks. The programme includes coffee and grilling sausages around a campfire.
Snowshoeing:
We offer splendid, varied terrain for both independent and guided snowshoe treks.
Guided snowshoe tour:
This can be tailored to the client’s wishes. The price includes coffee by a campfire and use of equipment.
Snowshoeing by starlight:
This can be tailored to the client’s wishes. The price includes coffee by a campfire, a head lamp and use of equipment.
