The menu of our 240-seat log-built restaurant offers everything from tasty home-cooking to gourmet specialities. Our cuisine is especially known for its traditional delicacies that are created from locally-caught fish and game from the forests. The restaurant also caters for corporate events and family celebrations. Kerimaa is a popular setting for summertime wedding receptions. In addition we arrange birthday parties, family reunions, elk-hunt feasts and Xmas parties.

Tasty delights in the lap of nature

In the twilight of an autumn evening or under the star-lit sky of a freezing January night, you’ll really enjoy a bowl of hot soup around a campfire. Our atmospheric barbecue hut and lean-to shelter also serve delicious salmon grilled on a plank as well as succulent Robbers’ Roast. What a splendid setting for a meal after a skiing trip or a snowmobile safari.

After attending an opera at Olavinlinna Castle in July, there’s no better place to continue the warm summer night than our atmospheric shore-side patio, built partly on the lake itself. We can serve you delicious vendance caught locally in Lake Puruvesi and fried in butter.

The Kerimaa barbecue hut and the lean-to shelter are both fully-licensed.
